2K8 has been a great panorama! Most bands came out with a real strength and good music. It was abit shocking to see Mangrove at that size the bands in the Grove seem to be losing their hold.
I think
Real Steel - what can i say this band has has always been real always consistant, however you must hold this position. - I look forward to next year!
CSI - I don't believe this band is truly ready for the Big league!
Metronomes just cant seem to raise up!
Pantasia- well done, a great improvement from last year!
Southside Harmonics - exceptionally great! Your music was real and uplifting keep up the good work, as your near a Win!!!

When Real Steel was in Barbados I was there for 95 an 97,they wer great.
This is the first time am looking at this site which was given to me by karen Luxton,it is great,and I saw most of the players who was in Barbados,it is nice to see them again,keep it up guys you all are great.

I think you guys are truly amazing. I was in an AMAZING band with amazing people at San Rafael high School 99-00'. It was the Advanced class we played over 25 shows that year. I am in a semi pro rock band and we have been offered some gigs in a hotel in Barbados at the end of this year. I would be grateful for any advice you may have about giging in Barbados. Specifically - The owner of the Hotel has told us that there are no music shops in Barbados where we can hire gear(amps, drums, pa, etc), is that correct? - I believe we will need a carnet for any gear we take out.
